Bio-Geometric Integration is a conceptual understanding which enhances the chiropractor's knowledge of the human body. Our bodies are understood to be "tensegrity" structures, built on a dynamic system of triangles. A force, such as a physical stressor, not only affects a single area, but the entire structure. Through understanding the innate geometry of the body, the chiropractor is able to more effectively and gently release the subluxation pattern and assess the effectiveness of the adjustment. It seeks to identify the different types of stored tension in the body as potential energy and guides the chiropractor to determine the most effective adjustment to help the body integrate that energy.
