What to expect:

Blue Heron Chiropractic is a cash-based practice, meaning we do not bill any of the health insurances for our services. This allows us more flexibility in services being offered for all patients and makes for less hassle with navigating the complex world of insurance.

Can I use my health insurance benefits?

For patients wishing to use chiropractic benefits on their insurance plan we offer superbills. A superbill is a detailed receipt showing that the services have been paid by you, the patient, and you can submit it to your insurance for direct reimbursement based on your plan. We will supply a superbill to you upon request at the frequency that you choose.

We encourage you to contact your insurance provider for information on whether they accept chiropractic superbills from out of network providers and on how to submit a superbill to them.

For auto collision claims:

If you have been in an auto accident, we may be able to bill your auto insurance for care under an active claim. Let us know if you are seeking chiropractic care following a collision, and we will guide you as to what the next steps will be based on your situation.
